How does Tunefanatic.com work?

Tunefanatic.com works similarly to any other browser hijacker. It enters your system and changes your home page and default search engine. The Tunefanatic.com webpage that you are presented with each time you go online contains a search box and lots of links. The links lead you to various articles. Some of them are even grouped into such categories as News, Reviews and Videos. If you try using the provided search engine, you will be redirected to yahoo.com. Yahoo Search is a reliable engine, however, it will display various sponsored ads in your results.

Other symptoms that you are bound to notice once the hijacker takes over is the increased number of advertisements. The adverts will appear no matter which sites you go to and they will promote various products and services. You should be extra cautious with all commercials, because the may not be legitimate. You could be exposed to fake ads and corrupted links. Please note that some of them may look especially useful, because the hijacker tracks your cookies. This does not mean, however, that those ads can be trusted. We suggest you eliminate Tunefanatic.com and thus remove the commercial data from your browsers and go back to using your favorite search tools.

How to terminate Tunefanatic.com?

There is no reason why you should hesitate to remove Tunefanatic.com from your browsers. The hijacker does not provide you with anything useful and only interrupts your surfing with ads and redirects. There are two ways you can delete Tunefanatic.com. none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
