WowCoupon Removal Instructions

WowCoupon is an ad-supported browser extension that claims it can provide you with the best deals, discounts and offers. Its usefulness is doubtful to say the least. The adware works on all popular browsers. It gets distributed in InstallRex software bundles.

WowCoupon is practically identical to other useless programs such as SaveNShare, SaveAs, DownloadKeeper and more. The application may look somewhat different, but it has a lot of the same components. The software inserts all kind of advertisements into your browsers. It does not do much else. We suggest you get rid of WowCoupon before it causes any trouble.

How does WowCoupon work?

WowCoupon installs a browser helper object to Internet Explorer. Its setup usually has 3 files. Since the adware travels together with other freeware and shareware, it is very likely that you did not even notice installing it. To make sure you do not make the same mistake again, you need to be especially cautious when installing free software. Make sure you carefully check the installation wizard and choose Advanced or Custom mode whenever it is offered. Once you do, you will be able to deselect all unnecessary additional components like adware or browser hijackers.

The reason you should avoid ad-supported applications is not just because they fill your browsers with unwanted commercial data which makes it impossible to surf the Internet uninterrupted. It is also because this data may lead you to unsafe webpages. Since WowCoupon does not endorse the advertisements it provides you with, the content of these ads could easily be false. You may be redirected to a malware harboring site or be exposed to other virtual scams. Taking these risks may result in malware infections, data loss, personal information disclosure and even financial troubles. If you want to prevent all of that from happening you should delete WowCoupon without hesitation.

How to remove WowCoupon?

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
