Winfix 10 Removal Instructions

Winfix 10 is a rogue anti-spyware application that is promoted as a system optimizer. It was created by Developerts LLC and signed by Fidelis IT Solutions Private Limited. The fake software has an official page, where it is described as a “Ultra quick utility and security software for Windows platforms”. And yet if you click on the Start Download Now button nothing happens. That is never a good sign.

Winfix 10, also known as Winfix Pro or Winfix 10 Pro, is a very dangerous program and you should not trust the information that you see on its website as it is nothing but a trick used to convince computer users of the legitimacy of the software. If you have it in your system, you already know how harmful it is. We suggest you remove Winfix 10 right away.

How does Winfix 10 work?

Once Winfix 10 gets installed, it starts showing you a fake Blue Screen of Death lock screen. Most of your executable files get blocked, so that you cannot access Task Manager, Internet browsers, Registry Editor and other programs. You are then urged to purchase the full version the software. Clearly, this is just a scare tactic used by the cyber criminals in order to persuade you into wasting your money. The application claims that upgrading it is the only way to eliminate all threats from your system, however, that is not the case. The program is fake and it will not fix your PC even if you purchase its full version. Instead of wasting your hard-earned money, you should terminate Winfix 10 without hesitation.

Since the main site of the rogue does not provide a working download link, it means that it spreads bundled with other freeware. The fake application gets attached to free software and if you do not pay attention to the installation wizard, you unwittingly agree to its addition. Next time, be more careful with the freeware you install and deselect all programs that are not essential.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
