What does Websearch.searchinweb.info do?

Websearch.searchinweb.info is similar to other “websearch” hijackers. It is very clear that this site is not reliable. Your new home page contains a fake advert that you should not click on. The search box that is presented on it redirects you to Google. It may redirect you to other, less familiar and safe pages as well. If you want to use Google or any other search engine for that matter, there is no need for you to go through the hijacker. To go back to your regular search tools, you will have to delete Websearch.searchinweb.info.

In addition to the modified home page and default search provider, you will also notice various advertisements appear on your screen. That is because the application supports commercial ads. It also analyzes your surfing habits and introduces personalized adverts. The problem with the commercials is that they are not monitored by anyone. This means that they can be fake. Trusting a fake ad could lead to serious consequences like potentially unwanted program or malware infection, personal data disclosure and so on. It is important that you know about these possible outcomes, so that you can terminate Websearch.searchinweb.info before it gets you into trouble.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
