TuneFanatic.com Removal Tips

TuneFanatic.com is a browser hijacker that is distributed via bundled freeware and shareware. Usually, it is a pre-selected option that appears during the installation process. TuneFanatic.com does not have an official website where it could be downloaded. Even the Conduit home page does not present a direct download link.

That is never a good sign. The software is promoted as a tool that is supposed to help you save your preferred browser settings, however, in reality it does the exact opposite. It modifies your browser settings and does not allow you to restore them. We suggest that you terminate TuneFanatic.com as soon as you can.

How does TuneFanatic.com work?

TuneFanatic.com is clearly an intrusive application that should not be tolerated. It changes your home page and default search provider without your permission. Once it gets installed, you are unable to modify these settings yourself. Moreover, you will see a blue icon with a magnifying glass appear in your system tray at all times. This means that the program launches itself automatically every time you turn on your computer and thus slows down its speed. Another important factor to take into account is that the application displays third party advertisements in your browsers. These ads may not be safe and we would not recommend clicking on them. They do not have a ‘Close’ or ‘X’ button, so you should simply ignore them until you delete TuneFanatic.com.

It is important that you know that TuneFanatic.com collects information about your surfing habits by tracking your cookies. So you should not be surprised to see customized adverts in your browsers. However, bear in mind that even if these ads look like valuable offers, they could still be fake. Do not be tricked by these tactics as trusting fake ads could lead to malware infections and financial losses.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
