Start2.me Removal Instructions

Start2.me is a search engine that travels along with various potentially unwanted and ad-supported applications. If you often download freeware from various third party software hosting sites, you are bound to run into additional programs like adware and browser hijackers.

The reason Start2.me is not classified as a browser hijacker is because it does not expose you to malicious pages, however, that does not mean this will not change in the future. In any case, keeping advertising-supported programs that have nothing to offer to you is never a good idea. We suggest that you remove Start2.me right away.

How does Start2.me work?

Start2.me has been linked to such potentially unwanted applications as Hao123, Hometab, Pricemeter and others. These applications can cause all sorts of disturbances, once they enter your system. You will notice various pop-ups, hyperlinks, banners and other ads wherever you go online. You will not be able to escape the adverts no matter which browser you use. Some of these programs may even modify your browser settings and replace your home page and default search engine. We advise that you stay away from all commercials until you terminate Start2.me.

The search engine itself was developed by RBM Solutions. It is mostly aimed at Brazilian computer users. The website contains links to different pages. Brasil. In order to go back to your regular search tool you will have to delete Start2.me.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
