Secret Sauce Removal Guide

Our computer experts classify Secret Sauce as an ad-supported application. In its official website secretsauce.biz, the application suggests to “sauce up your web browsing”. The program is supposed to improve your online shopping experience and thus it shows numerous coupons, pop-ups, pop-unders, etc. when you shop in such pages like amazon.com or ebay.com.

While at first glance the program looks trustworthy and useful, in reality it is very suspicious and unreliable. After thorough analyses, our research center recommends to delete Secret Sauce from your computer.

How did Secret Sauce enter your system?

While you can learn a little bit about this advertising supported application in its official website, direct download is not possible. This usually means that the application is distributed using a deceptive marketing method called ‘bundling’. If you are one of the users who often acquire free software from unofficial or even suspicious websites, you should not be surprised that the adware managed to sneak into your system unnoticed. Obviously, downloads from unreliable pages are quite dangerous and the only way to diminish the risk of additional programs is to follow every step of the installation. If you want to keep your computer safe, download free software from official sources or at least follow the installation procedure very carefully.

What does Secret Sauce do?

Even though this ad-supported program mainly shows ads in the popular shopping websites, you may see them in other pages as well. These constant distractions are the main reason users start looking for ways to get rid of Secret Sauce. However, a much bigger concern should be the pages which you will visit, if you click the ads. Since nobody monitors the third parties, it is possible that you will be directed to a malicious website and get infected with malware there. Needless to say, viruses, Trojans, worms, etc. are very dangerous and should be avoided at all costs. Bearing this in mind, you should eliminate Secret Sauce from your computer at once.

Also, you will probably soon notice that the ads are customized, meaning that they correspond with your latest searchers, clicks, visited pages, and so on. The ads are adapted to you by the adware which records your Internet activities. Do not tolerate such privacy violation and delete Secret Sauce right now.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
