What does do?

Users usually notice that their computer’s security was compromised and that a browser hijacker infiltrated their system, when they are presented with a new home page and default search engine. Instead of your usual search tool, you will be forced to use a website promoted by this application. We warn you that the search results which you will be provided with cannot be trusted. They will be filled with numerous advertisements and links from the affiliate third parties. Since the only goal of this software is to direct traffic to sponsored sites, you will be constantly routed to suspicious pages. Obviously, such uncontrollable redirects can expose you to malicious parties. We do not need to explain that if you encounter cyber criminals, you will most likely get infected with malware. Do not take such risks with your system and terminate before the hijacker manages to infect your PC with virus, Trojan, etc.

Another thing that should convince you that you need to get rid of is the tracking this application performs from the minute it enters your system. Such data like geographical location, IP address, search queries, visited pages, the time you spend in those pages, clicks, preferred browser, etc. is gathered by this browser hijacker, used to personalize the ads you see, and shared with the unknown third parties. Users usually are very unhappy when they realize that practically anyone can access their data and use it for nefarious purposes. To stop this spying and to protect your privacy, we recommend to eliminate from your computer as soon as you can manage.

How did enter your system?

Before you take care of removal, you need to understand how this intruder managed to slither into your system in the first place. To begin with, the existence of this application shows that you do not have a reputable anti-spyware or that it is outdated. Either way, you need to acquire such security tool to safeguard you PC from future threats. Also, since browser hijackers often travel bundled with freeware, you need to learn to be more careful during free software infiltrations. Choose Advanced or Custom option and read every word of the software license agreement. When you locate the boxes which announce the additional programs, click the ‘Decline’ button.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
