PUP.Tech Hubby Removal Tips

PUP.Tech Hubby is a potentially unwanted application (PUA) developed by Mytekies Pvt. Ltd. The program claims to be able to fix your registry errors for free, diagnose various problems, delete cookies, junk files, find malware and other undesirable software.

Unfortunately, it does not keep its promises. Users who have at some point encountered PUP.A1PCCleaner or PUP.Fix My PC will immediately notice the similarities. If you keep seeing messages which claim that your PC is at risk and that you should call the technicians, we advise not to delay and to remove PUP.Tech Hubby immediately.

What does PUP.A1PCCleaner do?

If you look at its official website getsupport.me, you may get the impression that the program is trustworthy and useful. However, even if you decide to acquire the software, you will not be able to do that. The direct download is impossible which means that the application travels in some clandestine manner. Most likely, this PUA is distributed together with freeware you acquire from the suspicious pages. If you often download free of charge software from such websites like softonic.com, soft32.com or download.com, you should pay more attention to the installation procedure.

Once the software enters your computer, it will immediately run a scan after which you will be presented with a ‘Fix’ button. However, when you click it, instead of taking care of the error, this intruder will simply present you with a pop-up urging to call a certified technician. We do not recommend doing that, since it is very unlikely that you will be offered a professional help. Additionally, every 30 minutes a new browser window will be opened where you will see a false message about the dangerous state of your computer’s health. We assure you that just like with the pop-ups, you should pay no attention to this notification. Remember that the goal of this intruder is to make you dial the provided number which is not something you should do. While the window cannot be closed manually, it closes automatically after a few minutes. All in all, there is not reason to allow this software to stay in your computer. It would be best, if you would terminate PUP.Tech Hubby as soon as you can.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
