What does Myv9.com do?

Hijackers usually infiltrate new systems bundled with free of charge software which users download from the suspicious pages. If you often install freeware from unofficial sources, you should pay more attention to the installation procedure. Always choose Advanced or Custom option. Either one of these choices will allow you to control the installation procedure and deselect the additional software. In the provided software license agreement, locate the undesirable application and click the Decline button next to them.

Once the hijacker enters your computer, it changes your browsers’ settings. As we said, the new search tool will provide you with numerous sponsored links and ads which you should try to avoid at all costs. Remember that browser hijackers are often responsible for malware infections. Basically, since the application does not check the parties it promotes, you can end up in a malicious website and get infected with all kinds of viruses, Trojans, worms, etc. Needless to say, this type of applications will be much harder to get rid of and they can also seriously harm your system. Before that happens, terminate Myv9.com from your computer.

Another thing you should be concerned about is the tracking this intruder starts as soon as it situates itself in your PC. It records such data like your geographical location, recent search queries, IP address, visited pages, and so on. The data is used to make the presented ads more attractive, however it is also sold to the third parties. You certainly should not tolerate such uncontrollable spread of your information which is one more reason to get rid of Myv9.com.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
