What is Malware Defender 2015?

Malware Defender 2015 is a rogue anti-spyware utility that was created by cyber criminals in order to make easy profit. With the help of a fake scan the application tries to convince you that your computer has errors and infections on it and that the only way to get rid of them is to purchase its full version. This scareware is not the only one of its kind. Other programs that work in a similar manner are Spyware Defender, System Defender and Antivirus Defender. All of these applications are completely fake and if you have any of them on your PC you need to remove them right away. The same goes for Malware Defender 2015. Do not believe any information that it provides and terminate Malware Defender 2015 as soon as you can.

How does Malware Defender 2015 work?

There are various tricks that cyber crooks use in order to distribute their malware. The infection could have entered your system via a spam email attachment or a corrupted link. You may have acquired it together with bundled freeware or by downloading a program that was promoted as something useful, but turned out to be fake. As there are many ways you can infect your PC without even realizing it, it is important to stay cautious at all times while browsing the Web and avoid unfamiliar suspicious sources, especially if you do not have a reputable anti-malware utility.

Once Malware Defender 2015 gets installed, it starts to scan your system. The results of this so-called scan will show you a list of various issues. The program will also state that it is unable to erase all threats that it has detected and therefore you need to purchase a “suitable antivirus software”. If you do not download it right away, you may also be prompted with fake alerts that will continue trying to convince you to waste your money claiming that you need to “clean your system from threats” or that “your personal data is at risk”. The only thing you actually need to worry about is the rogue itself. Do not hesitate to delete Malware Defender 2015 from your PC.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
