Interpol virus Removal Instructions
Interpol virus is a ransomware application that tries to convince you that your computer has been blocked because you have committed a crime. The infection enters your system and blocks access to your desktop. It presents you with a fake notification that claims to have come from Interpol Department of Cybercrime.
The message claims that you have been violating Copyright and Related Rights Law and now must pay a fine. Needless to say, none of that is true. What you see on your screen is just an attempt to scam you into wasting you money. Do not follow the instructions presented to you by the malicious threat and terminate Interpol virus as soon as you can.
How does Interpol virus work?
The ransomware enters your system together with Trojans that you can accidentally download by visiting corrupted sites, acquiring software from unreliable sources or opening spam email attachments. Interpol virus is not the only one of its kind. There are quite a few similar malicious applications that follow the same pattern. These include FBI Virus, European Law Enforcement Agency Virus, Homeland Security Virus and more. Interpol virus belongs to the Ukash Virus group.
Once the infection enters your computer, it restricts access to your desktop and displays a notification on your screen. This message states that you have committed a crime and now must pay a fine. The fee may vary, but it must always be paid using an online money transfer system like Ukash, Paysafecard, MoneyPak or similar. You are usually also warned that if you do not make the payment in 24 hours, you will suffer serious legal consequences like having to pay a fine up to €100,000 or even jail time. Clearly, all the cyber criminals are using scare tactics in order to make sure that you pay up. We urge you not to do so. Instead, eliminate Interpol virus from your computer yourself.
How to remove Interpol virus from my PC?
