How does InboxNow Toolbar work?

InboxNow Toolbar is often classified as a potentially unwanted application. One of the reasons why is because it can alter your browser settings. During the installation process it asks for your permission to replace your home page, new tab and default search provider with Ask.com. If you do not decline this offer, the changes are made automatically. Ask Search is a legitimate search engine and you can make use of it, however, you should know that it inserts sponsored content in the results that it shows you. It may also track your cookies in order to display customized commercial ads. If you wish to go back to using your regular search tools you will have to reset your browsers. This will also allow you to remove InboxNow Toolbar from Extensions.

If you start noticing other symptoms after you install the toolbar, like ads, pop-ups, redirects, slow downs and so on, it means that you have additional unwanted programs on your PC. The potentially unwanted or ad-supported applications are not helpful in any way. All they do is generate web traffic and thus make money for their developers. If you have these programs on your computer, you should not hesitate to erase them.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
