Gs Sustainer Removal Tips

Gs Sustainer is an adware helper that can be installed onto your computer without your notice. It is a clone of SW Sustainer, SW Booster and other similar applications. It is promoted by InstallRex-WebPick installers. The software could be installed onto your computer along with browser hijackers, adware and potentially unwanted programs such as Optimizer Pro, Youtubeadblocker, Websearch, and more.

You should not keep any of these programs in your system. We recommend that you get rid of Gs Sustainer and other applications that may have come bundled with it.

How does Gs Sustainer work?

Gs Sustainer is not a malicious threat, so it can not harm your PC on its own, however, that does not mean that you should keep it installed. The software can connect to the Internet without your permission. It silently communicates with a remote server and updates the ad-supported application that you have on your computer. Without these updates the adware would not be able to fill your browsers with various advertisements and other commercial data that you may find unnecessary. Since the helper is employed by unreliable programs, you should terminate Gs Sustainer.

In addition to terminating the adware helper, you should also delete the programs that it sustains. All that ad-supported applications really do is promote their sponsors in order to generate web traffic. The problem with that, aside from the excessive amount of ads you have to deal with, is that those ads may not be legitimate. You could be exposed to fake adverts and corrupted links that will not do you any good. They may mislead you into thinking that you need to update your software or check your computer status and offer a fake application to do it. They may also appear as lotteries or surveys that were only created to acquire your personal details. There are plenty of other scams that may be just as dangerous. That is why you should delete Gs Sustainer.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
