How does Filmfanatic toolbar work?

Filmfanatic toolbar gets added to your browser and appears right below the address bar. It contains such buttons as Watch Movies, IMDB Search, Movie Reviews and Movie News. It also presents you with a search box. If you did not deselect the Ask offers, your home page, new tab and default search provider are now replaced with home.tb.ask.com and search.tb.ask.com. The results provided by this search engine may include commercial content. We suggest you stay away from it, as there is no way to be sure if it is safe.

You should be noticing even more symptoms, if you acquired the toolbar together with other freeware. Other potentially unwanted programs may cause various ads, banners and pop-ups to appear on your favorite pages. You may also get redirected to unfamiliar sites and experience Internet slow downs. Keep in mind that nobody checks the data provided to you by the these programs, so it can be fake. You click on it at your own risk. If you want to improve your online security, you should terminate Filmfanatic toolbar.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
