Coppingo.com Removal Instructions

At first glance, Coppingo.com may look like a reliable search engine, but the ugly truth is that this application is part of the malicious browser hijacker setup. The search engine is set as your default homepage when a dangerous browser hijacker enters your system, and unless you remove Coppingo.com from your computer at once, you will soon face a variety of malicious infections that will turn your days into nightmare.

While you are at it, run a full system scan to see whether you have more unwanted applications running on your computer.

It is very likely that you will have several potentially unwanted programs on your computer because Coppingo.com does not get distributed on its own. This browser hijacker does not have a direct download link and, to be honest; no user would ever want to download a malicious program on her computer willingly. Thus, we can infer that Coppingo.com has multiple distribution methods that regular computer users are not aware of. For example, it is very likely that Coppingo.com get distributed via file-sharing websites like malavida.com, and it comes with such programs as MyPCBackup, Optimizer Pro, Deal Keeper, RegClean Pro, and so on. That is why we say that if your default homepage is changed to Coppingo.com, you should open your Control Panel and remove other unwanted applications.

We can tell a lot about Coppingo.com because this browser hijacker is a direct clone of Palikan.com, Astromenda, Binkiland, Vosteran, and many other computer infections that can inadvertently expose you to dangerous websites and malware distribution schemes. The point is that Coppingo.com and other similar programs cannot cause any significant damage to your computer unless you allow it to. For example, take a note of the commercial advertisement you see below the Coppingo.com search box. This ad space could be filled with almost anything as long as the third parties know how to make use of this search engine.

On top of that, more of than not, the ad content on Coppingo.com will be related to your most recent search queries and the websites you have visited because this browser tracks your web browsing habits via tracking cookies. It wouldn’t be that dangerous if Coppingo.com were a reliable application, but since it is a browser hijacker, the information it collects can be later on leaked to cyber criminals for online marketing or even malware distribution purposes.

Thus, you need to remove Coppingo.com from your computer to ensure that no one makes use of your system. You can restore your browser settings manually, but you should acquire a licensed antispyware tool to run a full system scan because you have to get rid of all the files related to this infection, and it might be too challenging to do that manually.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
