How does Cnfg.toolbarservices.com work?

Cnfg.toolbarservices.com has most likely entered your system bundled with free third party software. Browser hijackers often use this distribution method, because most users do not pay enough attention to the freeware installation wizard and unwittingly agree to installing additional programs. If you skip through the installation steps and keep clicking on ‘Next’ without paying attention to what you are agreeing to, you are very likely to acquire potentially unwanted programs, adware or in this case a browser hijacker. Make sure that does not happen again by choosing Advanced mode and deselecting all applications that are not familiar to you.

Cnfg.toolbarservices.com is capable of modifying your home page and default search provider. It will also cause various redirects to sites that can not be trusted. The hijacker will display pop-ups, banners, hyperlinks and other advertisements on all pages that you choose to visit. Worse than that, however, some of these ads will be fake. You can not trust any information provided to you by the application. If you do, you could end up infecting your system with potentially unwanted or even malicious software. It is imperative that you get rid of Cnfg.toolbarservices.com before it causes any severe damage.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
