  7. Also tick Obtain DNS server address automatically

  1. Click Start and open Control Panel
  2. Search for “adapter”
  3. Click on View network connections
  4. Right-click on the selected connection
  5. Select Properties
  6. Choose Obtain an IP address automatically
  7. Also check Obtain DNS server address automatically
  8. Click OK to save modifications

Windows Vista

  1. Open Start menu and select Control Panel
  2. Click on Network and Internet
  3. Move to Network and Sharing Center
  4. Click Manage network connections
  5. Right-click on the selected connection
  6. Open Properties and go to Networking tab
  7. Select Obtain an IP address automatically
  8. And choose Obtain DNS server address automatically
  9. Click OK to save made changes

3) Edit the Hosts file

  1. Go to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc.
  2. Open hosts file using Notepad
  3. Move to the end of the text
  4. Erase all lines after “127.0.01 localhost” or “::1″
  5. Close the file and click Yes to save changes

4) Delete Chrome redirect virus from the browser

  • Open Google Chrome and click on the menu
  • Select Settings and click Show advanced settings
  • Click on Reset settings and select Reset

    none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

    I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages.It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
