How does work? is a malicious advertising domain. The way it works depends on how the cyber criminals configure the threat that it contains. The site can install adware, potentially unwanted programs and, worst of all, malware onto your computer. You will not even notice the installation. Once the website successfully infects your PC, its speed will obviously decrease. Other than that, you will also notice even more ads in your browsers as well as redirects to various unreliable sites. You should terminate as soon as you realize your computer was infected.

As it has been mentioned above, the reason why you were exposed to this site is because you already have a potentially unwanted or an ad-supported application in your system. You may have acquired adware while installing a free third party program. If you did not pay attention to the installation wizard, you could have unwittingly allowed the unwanted application to get installed. In order to make sure that does not happen again, you need to always pay attention to what you install and what additional programs you are offered. Decline these offers as they are not going to be useful to you at all.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
