Assist Point Removal Instructions

Assist Point is an adware application created by SuperWeb LLC. The unreliable browser add-on is advertised as a tool that will help you find what you are looking for online which may seem useful, however, its functionality has nothing to do with its promises.

Assist Point does nothing but display various advertisements on your screen. Since that is how the developers of this program make profit, you should not be surprised that the ads will appear everywhere you go online. If you want to get rid of them, you will have to eliminate Assist Point from your system.

How does Assist Point work?

Assist Point is identical to such ad-supported applications as Strong Signal, Positive Finds and Roaming Rate. They all work in the same manner. The add-on inserts various commercial ads into your browsers. Every time you click on one of them, the developers of the software make money. That is why you will see pop-ups, hyperlinks, banners, interstitial ads and other commercials no matter which site you open. Some of them may even appear relevant to you, but that is only because the adware tracks your cookies and collects information about your browsing habits.

No matter how tempting the advert may seem, you should always keep in mind that among the legitimate ads you will also see fake ones. Not all links can be trusted. If you follow a corrupted one you will end up on a malware harboring page or a site with some other Internet scam. The adware could lead you to webpages that promote supposedly useful software, but once you download it, you realize that that was just a trick to get you to download malware, spyware or a potentially unwanted program. If you do not want something similar to happen to you, you should terminate Assist Point without delay.

How to remove Assist Point?

Luckily, it is not that difficult to delete Assist Point. There are two options you can choose from: manual or automatic removal. Manual Assist Point removal should do the trick, but some of the adware components may get left behind. That is why we recommend you remove Assist Point automatically. Download the anti-malware tool and use it to scan the system. It will detect all elements of the infection and erase Assist Point completely. The software will also take care of other harmful programs and files and keep your computer safe in the future. If, however, you still want to remove Assist Point manually, you can use the instructions provided below.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
