Key Find Virus Removal Instructions

Key Find Virus is a browser hijacker that was designed to promote its associated websites. It takes over your browsers and modifies their settings without your approval. The hijacker is similar to other programs of this type like search.snap.do, v9.com, sweet-page.com, websearches.com and many more.

Key Find Virus may seem like a helpful tool, because it provides you with quick access links to popular pages, but you should not trust it as it also brings you unreliable links. We recommend that you eliminate Key Find Virus from your browsers.

How does Key Find Virus work?

As soon as the hijacker infiltrates your system, it changes your home page and default search provider to Key Find Virus. The website has a search box on it and quick access buttons to such websites as Facebook, YouTube, Amazon, Twitter, Wikipedia and others. The search engine uses Yahoo Search to find what you are looking for and also adds sponsored links to the search results. Moreover, you will see various ads, banners and pop-ups no matter which page you choose to visit. Do not trust these adverts or you may cause serious damage to your computer. Fake ads could lead to malware infection and other undesirable consequences. That is why we urge you to remove Key Find Virus without delay.

One thing you may still be wondering is how did the hijacker enter your system. It is actually quite simple: Key Find Virus, which usually comes as a part of a potentially unwanted program, gets attached to other freeware. If you install free software without checking all information provided in the wizard, you end up with more than what you bargained for. The hijacker has been known to travel with other unwanted programs like DealKeeper, CouponDownloader and Sweet Page. If you have any of those on your PC, you may want to delete them as well.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
