What does BlockAndSurf do?

Such programs most often travel alongside other popular applications. Users often download such software like PDF creator, Java, Ccleaner, etc. and fail to notice that at the same time additional programs slither into their systems too. This distribution method is called ‘bundling’ and is often used to spread the undesirable software among the unsuspecting users. If you often acquire freeware from such pages like soft32.com, softonic.com, download.com, etc., you should learn to be more careful during the installation procedure. Carefully follow every step of the process and make sure that no additional programs sneak into the computer alongside the intended software. If that still happened, we advise to remove BlockAndSurf adware from your PC.

Once the advertising supported application gets situated inside the new system, you may expect a lot of unpleasant surprises. First of all, you will notice numerous advertisements added to your favorite shopping pages. Next to the products presented by the website, you will also see ads by BlockAndSurf which will offer you very similar products with a discount. While at first sight it may seem very useful, we were informed that in most cases users get very distracted and annoyed by the ads. Also, in order to present you with all those ads, the adware follows your Internet activities and records your habits, favorite pages, IP address, clicks, and so on. You will notice the slower general performance of your system too. Finally, you should understand that nobody can guaranteed the trustfulness of the websites to which you will be directed after clicking the ads. It is entirely possible, that you will end up in some suspicious or even dangerous portal where your system will get infected with malware. Needless to say, you should do everything to avoid such outcome. We recommend to delete BlockAndSurf as soon as possible.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
