What is Active Discount?

Active Discount is an ad-supported program that can affect your online browsing in a negative way. It is similar to other applications of this type like RealDeal, SharkManCoupon, LuckyCoupon and other software based on JustPlugIt engine. Active Discount does not have an official site where it could be downloaded. Instead, the application travels bundled with various freeware. It has been in particularly associated with such installers as Amonetize, Vittalia and InstallRex. The adware may be promoted as a useful tool that will provide you with relevant coupons, discounts and deals, but its main purpose has nothing to do with helping you save money. We recommend that you get rid of Active Discount without hesitation.

Usually computer users do not notice the presence of the adware right away. The ads appear on the screen no matter where they choose to go online, but since they do not remember installing Active Discount, they may not realize right away what program causes them. Ad-supported applications are distributed with other freeware and shareware. They appear as additional offers in the installation wizard and if the computer user does not decline them, he ends up allowing the unwanted applications to get access to the PC. This can be avoided. All you need to do is choose Advanced or Custom mode instead of the Quick or Regular one and deselect all unknown programs. We suggest you do that next time you deal with free software.

none of the anti malware programs is able to remove the stamplive adware from my computer. I’m afraid the only solution will be to go back to factory settings.

I had price minus ads popping up often in all webpages. It was driving me nuts.! I removed an extension from my browser (Firefox). I started deleting the extensions that I knew were not vital. And no more popups! I do have a couple of malware programs, and they too failed to remove these ads. But removing the extensions from Firefox + the add-ons section its what did the trick! I also did the same thing to google chrome browser, I deleted some add-ons, and extensions as well.
